Hoogiman's Pre-Game Wrap: Mario Galaxy!
This page is basically for pre-release date reviews of games (in Australia, it might be out in your fancy-pants European country). Or alternatively, it's out but we haven't bought it. Be warned, there will be a lot of judgement on the cover of the book here.

Okay, this game just sounds really, really stupid. It's Mario (again); but he's in space?! From first glance I have to admit that I thought that Nintendo is simply running out of ideas. I mean, come on! Mario in space! How is that not... well unstupid? (Immature note: which three letters have stars in the word 'galaxy'?)
'Shake, tilt and point! Mario takes advantage of all the unique aspects of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller, unleashing new moves as players shake the controller and even point at and drag items with the pointer.' I guess this game will bring nothing new to the franchise except that it's on the Wii. And seeing that I trust Miyamoto enough to integrate the wii in a unique enough way for it to be interesting, I can bet you it will be a fun game package.
Prediction: The best linear (it may not be :o) adventure game out since Zelda. It seems like it may have the best eye candy of all Nintendo games so far, so the graphics will probably be a plus. A fun package for Mario-fanboyz.
Well, yay, another Mario game. All those Super Mario super fans out there will love this, but seriously: Mario... in space? Sure, Mario's got to go to a different place for more adventure, but SPACE? What next, Super Mario Suffocating in a Fishbowl? Honestly, I give this an A+ for originality. (I think if they did make a Super Mario Suffocating in a Fishbowl game, it would be more fun tenfold.) Anyway, enough with the 'Aagh my eyes' comments.
Anyone who likes games with adventure and excitement would probably love this, it is quite good from the looks of it. Mario fanboys/girls will absolutely love this game, like all others WITH Mario in it. This game looks fun, probably is, but the plot is cheesier than Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Statue.
Prediction: As said above, looks fun, probably is, probably worth
playing. Looks action-packed too. Good for anyone, basically.
